Notes on the SEGA PC CD-ROM
* Safety precautions
1. A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. Exposure to certain patterns or backgrounds on a television screen or while playing video games may induce an epileptic seizure in these individuals. Certain conditions may induce undetected epileptic symptoms even in persons who have no history of prior seizures or epilepsy. If you, or anyone in your family, has an epileptic condition, consult your physical prior to playing. If you experience any of the following symptoms while playing a video game - dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitches, loss of awareness, disorientation, any involuntary movement or convulsions - IMMEDIATELY discontinue use and consult your physician before resuming play.
2. When using this software, make sure the room is well lit and keep an adequate distance from the monitor or television screen. For your own health, take a rest of 10 to 20 minutes every hour and don't use this software when you are tired or short of sleep.
* Keeping the disk free from flaws and dust
Be careful when handling the disk to keep both sides of the disk free from flaws and dust. Do not bend the disk or enlarge the center hole.
* Writing on the disk
Do not write or stick labels on the surface of the disk.
* Removal of dirt
Lightly wipe dust off the disk with a soft cloth used for cleaning glasses radially from the center outward. Do not use thinner or benzine.
* Storage location
After use, place the disk back into its case and store it in a location that is not hot or humid.
* SEGA PC disk is only for computers
Never use the disk with ordinary CD players. Doing so may damage the headphones or speakers.
* Auto save function
This game software has an auto save function.
This game software saves the high scores and the data input using [Setting] on the menu bar to the hard disk. Because of the auto save function, if you turn off the power switch of the computer while the game is active, the saved data may be destroyed.
After installing the game, the autorun menu will give you the option of running Native Win'95 or a 3DFX Version. If you do not have a 3DFX card in your PC this option won't work and will return an error message.
Native Win'95 version should be chosen at all other time and will work with most Win'95 configurations without problems.
If you encounter any problems running the 3Dfx version of ManxTT Superbike, first ensure that you have correctly installed the Glide drivers supplied with your video card. Newer versions of these can also be obtained from your card manufacturer.
If these do not work, then install the Glide drivers from 3Dfx found in the 3Dfx directory on the ManxTT Superbike CD or obtain the latest drivers from 3Dfx.
